Young Coders World Cup (YCWC) 2025 is an international coding and Artificial Intelligence (AI) competition for students aged 5–18 years. It brings together over 10,000 participants from more than 20 cities across 10 countries. The program empowers the young generation with future-ready technology skills while providing a global platform to learn, innovate, and showcase their talent.
This year’s theme, “Secure AI for All: Preparing the Next Generation for a Safer AI Era,” emphasizes the safe, ethical, and beneficial use of AI. Participants will design innovative projects such as games, websites, and applications that promote digital safety and responsible AI practices. Through YCWC 2025, students are inspired to become future innovators who shape a safer and brighter digital world.

Young Coder World Cup
REGISTER NOWTerms and Conditions:
- Participants must be students aged 5–18 years old and may register for only one category (AI or Game).
- Registration fee applies. All participants must complete the official registration process with accurate data.
- Projects must be original, created individually, follow the given theme, and not previously submitted in other competitions.
- Any form of fraud, plagiarism, or rule violation may result in disqualification or revocation of awards.
- The decisions of the YCWC Committee and Judges are final and binding. Additional provisions may be issued if required.
Frequently Asked Questions
YCWC 2025 is an international coding and Artificial Intelligence (AI) competition for elementary, middle, and high school students. The program includes teacher training, school coding workshops, and a multi-stage competition from local to international levels, under the theme “Secure AI For All.”
The event is organized by Timedoor Academy and supported by the Ministry of Creative Economy (KemenEkraf) of Indonesia.
The competition will be held in 20+ cities across Indonesia (such as Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Denpasar, Medan, Makassar, Yogyakarta, and more), as well as online for the international stage, involving participants from 10 countries.
The competition is open to all students from kindergarten to high school, depending on the category they register for.

The competition features Game Development and AI Projects, with various categories and levels.
The competition consists of three stages:

Yes, guidance from teachers is allowed and even encouraged during the learning process. However, the project must be original and primarily created by the students themselves, especially during the competition.
For local and national levels, Indonesian is allowed. For the international level, participants are expected to present their projects in English.
